About Us
June 2006 and the Banglads baby was born. Our founder Mat started the ball rolling when he finished his last design contract in the Spring of 06 and had returned home from NY. He was looking for a new direction, so after a bit of head scratching and some umming and aaahing. He decided he wanted to start his own fashion website, that would sell the kind of fashion that weekends and nights out were made for.
Banglads started small, Mat, his cat and some helpful cheap friends, but the site soon picked up speed as news spread and you guys began to return over and over and over again to the site. So much so that only a year after we began we were already redeveloping the website and had moved to larger offices. Plus the helpful friends had turned into fully paid up team members.
The following year and our team has grown further still as we grow. In May 2009 has seen our biggest move forward yet and the Banglads website has just undergone a major upgrade and redevelopment so that we can continue to keep up with what you guys want. Plus we have also just expanded our warehouse space to accommodate all the new lines we have and that we have arriving in the coming months.
And without sounding hopelessly cheesy, we think the reason why you guys keep coming back for more has a little something to do with the that fact that we offer the best value we can, fast shipping, easy returns and most importantly we really do listen to you.
Plus we always keep our promises and when we do make a mistake (which yes we sometimes do) then we have no problem putting our hands up, saying sorry and sorting the situation out in a way that suits you best.
