G-Star Raw Denim, based in the Netherlands was founded by Jon Tilburg in ‘89. Originally he had named the brand Gap Star but then decided to change its name as it grew internationally. G-Star’s most popular clothing is RAW denim; unwashed and untreated denim, shirts and other articles of clothing.
G-Star is influenced by military clothing and their design inspirations are taken from vintage military apparel from around the world.
