FAQs

Registering on Banglads

  You are invited to register with us by clicking the 'Login/Register' link at the top of the screen. The benefits of creating an account are

  • Faster checkout

If you were registered with our previous Banglads site then you will need to re-register on this newer version of our site. This is because our new site is  operating on a brand new platform which is not compatible with our earlier account database. Apologies for this but, we are sure that once you have re-registered you will appreciate the far superior service this new site offers all our customers.


Ordering FAQ's

Can I change my delivery address once my order has been placed?

Unfortunately due to our fast delivery times our system is constantly updating and once an order has been placed successfully we are unable to change any details.

Can I ship my order to a different address to my billing address?

Yes you can. When choosing to do so you maybe contacted by our customer services to complete further security checks.

How will I know my order has been shipped?

You will recieve a shipping notification email when your order ships, which is typically within 24 hours.

I cannot remember my Verified by Visa/Mastercard Securecode password; what can I do?

The 3D secure section is provided by your bank, if you cannot remember your password to this section you will need to contact your bank directly who will be able to re-set this for you.

My card has been declined, why?

If you card is being declined when you are trying to place an order this is due to your bank declining the transaction.

We do not decline any transactions and If this occurs please contact your bank directly so they can rectify this for you.

I am buying items within an offer but the discounts are not showing, why?

Discounts applied to items will not show until you reach the final check out stage on the website at the point when you are asked to input your credit card details.

If your discount is still not showing at this final stage please make sure the items selected are available within one of our offers. Items in the offer will have a symbol alongside the item's description. If either item does not have this showing they are not available in the offer and the discount will not be applied.

If the discount is still not being shown at the checkout stage and both items are definitely eligible for the same offer please contact us.

Why isn't my voucher code working?

Voucher codes periodically expire and it may be that you're using an outdated code. Vouchers are not usually redeemable in conjunction with other offers (such as '2 for' deals). Voucher codes are not redeemable during sale periods.

I saw an item on your website but it’s no longer there, why?

If an item is no longer showing on the website this item is unfortunately now out of stock. 

If you would like to know if an item is coming back into stock please contact us and quote the six digit 'stock code' shown below the products name. Our Customer Service team will be able to advise if and when an item is coming back into stock.

I want to buy an item from your website but my size is out of stock, how can I purchase the correct size?

If your size is out of stock  then it maybe available to pre-order through our website.

When pre-ordering you will only be charged the one delivery charge and we will ship your item/items as soon as they come back into stock.

When entering your card details please ensure that you check the following:

  • You have entered the correct card type (e.g. Mastercard, Visa, Switch)
  • You have entered the card number correctly (the card number is
    the longest number shown on the card)
  • You have used the correct cardholder’s name
  • You have entered the expiry and valid from dates correctly
  • You have entered your card security code correctly

Currencies

You can view all the items on our site in either British Pounds, US Dollars, Canadian Dollars, Australian Dollars or the Euro simply by selecting the currency of your choice from the icons in the top right of the web page.

Customs and Duty charges: For customers based outside the EU you may expect to pay your local countries custom or duty charges when the order arrives in your country.

As these amounts vary from country to country we are unable to specify what the charge is likely to be.


Delivery and Postage FAQ's

Can I change my delivery address once my order has been placed?

Unfortunately due to our fast delivery times our system is constantly updating and once an order has been placed successfully we are unable to change any details.

What time will I receive my delivery?

We are only able to offer a time of delivery with our Express and Saturday Express services which will be delivered by 1pm the day after payment is received, provided payment is made by 2pm.

If I’m not in when delivery is attempted, what will happen?

A calling card will be left by the Royal Mail to let you know that a delivery has been attempted and you can rearrange a redelivery direct with the Royal Mail on their website.

My order has not arrived?

In the event of your order not arriving we will make a claim for the loss with the Royal Mail.

As part of this process the Royal Mail will contact you to ask you to verify that you have not received your order. The sooner  you respond to this request then the faster the claim is resolved.

How soon after shipping can I ask for a claim to be filed?

For all UK Claims we must wait 15 working days from the shipment date before the Royal Mail will consider the order lost and a claim can be made

For all International Claims we must wait 25 working days from the shipment date before the Royal Mail will consider the order lost and a claim can be filed


Discreet Packaging

  All our orders are sent in anonymous packaging for the security of your order and for your own discretion. The package will just have your address and our anonymous return address on the outside with no mention of banglads.com

Lost and Delayed Post

For UK customers only - It has been 15 working days since my order was shipped and it has not yet arrived?

At this point for all UK orders we can place a claim with the Royal Mail for a lost item. Before 15 working days we are not able to claim and ask that you remain patient as your order may still arrive.

Please email us if it has been over 15 working days since the shipment date and we will initiate the claim with the Royal Mail.

As part of the claims process the Royal Mail will contact you to ask you to verify that you have not received your order. The sooner  you respond to this request then the faster the claim is resolved.

For all International claims for lost post we are required to wait 25 working days

For all International Claims we must wait 25 working days from the shipment date before the Royal Mail will consider the order lost and a claim can be filed

Whilst we do appreciate that when a parcel is delayed or goes missing that it is incredibly frustrating we would like to assure you that we do aim to complete your claim and resolve your order as swiftly as possible after the Royal Mail's deadline.


Promotion Terms

BangLads Ltd reserves the right to change or remove promotions or offers from the website at any time.

Discounts offered on E-Flyers and other Banglads promotional literature is only redeemable when the promotional code is entered at checkout.

Multi-buy discounts relating to 3for2 promotions are deducted from the total goods price before carriage. The discount amount is stated separately on your order receipt.

Please be aware any discount applied to your order will not show until the Checkout stage on the website.

It is not possible to use a promo code or discount voucher in conjunction with any other offer on a single order.


Voucher Codes

If you have a promotional voucher code which entitles you to a discount off your order, you can enter this on the order summary page which is the final page before you place your order.

Just enter your code into the discount code box. Any discount that is applicable will then be applied to your order and show as a discount.

Two promotions cannot be used in conjunction with one another and if there are two conflicting promotions on any one order you will be asked to select one of these.

Please check the conditions of your voucher if it does not appear to work on your order as some have special conditions.

How does the Refer a Friend Voucher System work?

When you sign up to our site you will find in your account admin a 'Refer a friend' section.

Here you can enter the names and email addresses of up to 5 friends that you think would also like to visit Banglads. Your friends will be sent an email offering them 15% off their first purchase. When they visit the site and register they will automatically receive a 15% discount on their first order and as a thank you for the introduction you will automatically be sent a voucher for 15% off your next purchase at Banglads.*

*Your discount voucher will only be activated if your friends register their account on Banglads using the same email address as the one you provided. The discount of 15% is only available to friends that are not currently subscribed to the Banglads site and does not include postage costs.


Security

The utmost care and consideration is taken to ensure that your card details are secure. This is achieved by encrypting your card number at the time when your order is placed. It is important that you type in the cardholder's name as it is shown on your card and address exactly as it appears on your statement.

Please do not e-mail your card details to www.banglads.com. No responsibility can be taken for the security of your details when submitted via e-mail and all such emails will be deleted without the order or request being processed.

Customer card details are checked and verified by the card issuer. If the card issuer refuses payment or declines authorisation, regardless of the reason, we will notify you by email and your order will be cancelled. Please feel free to use an alternative payment method to secure your order.

It is your responsibility to contact your issuing bank to find out the reason your card was declined.

All transactions are secure, but in addition, our site offers to customers the added security of ‘3D secure’. Please register for this service with your card issuer.

Card Security Code

On the reverse side of your credit/debit card please look on the signature strip. You will find: either the entire string of your card number, OR just the last 4 digits, followed by a space, and a 3-digit number. That 3-digit number is your card security code.


Returns and Refunds FAQ's

All items can be returned to us via post within 14 days of receiving your order for a refund or exchange.

Please take care when trying on items that they do not become soiled by any deodorant, make up, aftershave, cigarette smoke, pet hair etc as such items will be deemed unsuitable for resale and as such a refund will not be given.

Enclose a brief note with your return stating if you require an exchange or return.

Send your returns by post using the pre-printed Returns Address Label supplied on the delivery note.

Price tickets and labeling must be kept on all garments returned. 

Returning Multi-buy offers

Items returned that are part of our 3for2 offer. Unless all the items are returned then only an exchange will be given; if all items in the offer are returned a refund will be issued back to the card used for payment instead.

Postage and Refund Process

Postage is paid by the customer; when returning items to us please make sure you obtain a proof of posting at the Post Office. All receipts confirming your order has been sent back to us are to be kept by you until you receive a refund confirmation email. We also recommend that you insure the parcel for the value of the items you are returning.

The parcel is your responsibility until it reaches us; any parcels not received at our warehouse will not be refunded.

We normally process all refunds the day the item is returned to us.

If you have not heard from us within 5 working days of returning your item then please contact us as we may not have received your item and you may need to claim this through the Royal Mail as lost mail.

Swimwear and underwear must be returned to us unworn.

Your UK statutory rights are not affected by our returns policy.

Your return will be credited to your original payment type. The credit will  usually appear in your account within 48 hours of our processing the refund.


Returning Multi-buy offers

Items returned that were bought as part of one of our multi-buy offers, e.g. 3for2. When returning items bought as part of a promotional package if only part of the promotional package is returned,(for instance only 2 of the 3for2 offer) then those items kept will no longer be at the reduced offer price and as such any monies owed will reflect the full cost price of the items kept.

Please be aware that you will still need to pay the postage charge for the exchanged item to be sent to you.


Buying an item as a gift for Christmas?

  We are extending our normal 14 days return program to help out everyone buying gifts this Christmas.  You will now have until January 8th to return all items purchased from December 1st onwards.
